Thanga samba egg rice
Ingredients
- Egg- 3 nos
- Rice- 1 cup(200g)
- Onion-1 no
- Tomato- 1 no
- Vegetables (Optional)
- Ginger garlic paste-1 tablespoon
- Chilli powder- 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Garam masala-1 tsp
- Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
- Spring onions-1 bunch
- Salt-1/2 tsp
- Ghee-1 tsp
- Oil-5 tablespoon
- Aniseed-1 tsp
Methods
- In oil fry spring onion and add egg.
- Add pepper and salt.
- Rinse and soak the rice for one hour.
- Cook the rice in pot / cooker
- Within 15 minutes, the rice gets cooked.
- In kadai, heat the oil/ghee and add aniseed.
- Add onion, veggies and ginger garlic paste
- Add tomato, salt and fry it well.
- Add turmeric powder and chilli powder.
- Add coriander powder and garam masala.
- Fry it well for 10 minutes
- Now add the previously prepared scrambled egg
- Add cooked thanga samba rice
- Add salt, spring oil and ghee
- Hot Thanga samba egg rice is ready!
